The RFID vehicle tags are available in FCC (US) or ETSI (EU) variants and are designed for ETC intelligent traffic management, smart parking, and fleet management. Each year, nearly 20 million tags are supplied to customers across the Americas and India, where local regulations and standards are well understood.

Manufactured with UV-resistant materials, these tags offer a lifespan of up to 10 years and support 100,000 write cycles, ensuring long-term durability. Each tag features a unique serial number and barcode on the front, enabling automated processing and easy issuing.

To prevent unauthorized transfer or reuse, the tags incorporate tamper-evident technology, making them non-transferable and automatically destroyed upon removal. Available options include full aluminum fragile, where the entire tag breaks upon removal, and partial knife-slit fragile, with strategically placed cuts ensuring damage when detached. Additionally, password protection is supported, securing user data and allowing encrypted storage.

Standard sizes include 100×50mm and 98×12mm, with chip options such as Alien H9 and Monza R6-P. Customization in shape, size, material, color, and chip selection is available upon request. The tags can also be delivered with special production data and customized delivery forms, integrating seamlessly into customer issuing procedures and adapting to various use cases.

There are several applications for RFID Vehicle Tags:

  1. Expressway ETC Tolling

Description: Automatic toll collection for highways and expressways, including both entry/exit and free-flow models.

RFID Hardware Implementation:

Vehicles are installed with RFID windshield tags or ABS encapsulated metal tags for identification.

UHF RFID readers are installed in lanes (top-mounted or side-mounted) at toll plazas or gantries.

The system records entry and exit data to calculate and deduct toll charges, supporting prepaid or postpaid models.

Most RFID tags comply with EPC Class1 Gen2, while EPC Class 2 offers enhanced security features .

  1. Smart Parking Management

Description: Streamlined vehicle access and billing in commercial and residential parking lots.

RFID Hardware Implementation:

Each vehicle uses an RFID windshield tag.

RFID readers are mounted at entry/exit gates to detect vehicles automatically.

System logs parking duration and automates billing or access control.

Commonly uses ISO18000-6C / EPC C1G2 compatible readers and antennas.

  1. 3. Fleet Management & Logistics

Description: Vehicle identification and tracking for logistics fleets, delivery trucks, and service vehicles.

RFID Hardware Implementation:

RFID tags are used to uniquely identify each fleet vehicle.

Readers installed at warehouses, loading bays, and depots automatically log movements.

Enables real-time tracking, route optimization, and audit trails.

Advanced EPC Class 2 tags may be used for secure data and verification.
